1925 silent version: BFI Blu-ray for HD reconstruction (complete 1925 print is lost)
1929 silent version: OOP fixed Image Entertainment Blu-ray
1930 sound version: 2003 Image Entertainment DVD (excellent transfer, but severely compromised by indiscriminate over-use of the restoration process)
Director: Sydney Pollack
Excellent new transfer. Except for periodic blocking in highlights, which isn’t too obvious in motion, this is a strong disc. I’d suggest blue as there’s only Atmos sound and the most recent Blu-ray from 2013 was also from a new master and isn’t too bad.
Atmos mix is very bad with many new sound effects added. The old 5.1 is probably derived from the 6-track, with surrounds minimally upmixed. DVD has the 6-track as 4.1, but with more muffled EQ.
Director: Jonathan Mostow
Universal has burnt-in English subs for Germany dialogue, slightly different HDR and color grading to the StudioCanal.

Identical. Arrow 4K Blu-ray is lossy transcode.

US Cohen 4K Blu-ray > Concorde Germany 4K Blu-ray, from nicwood:
Cohen has original SDR master, correct gamma, very good encode. Preferable to the Germany 4K with worse encoding, translated titles and fake HDR.
