BestBlurays Companion
A browser extension that injects BestBlurays release info directly into Letterboxd film pages — best available format, video/audio picks, English-friendly release, and links back here and to Blu-ray.com. No account, no tracking, one content script.

Install
Chrome and Firefox versions are identical — pick whichever matches your browser. The userscript is a single-file port for Safari and for anyone who prefers not to install a full extension.
Safari
Apple does not publish a native version of this extension on the Mac App Store. The easiest install path is the userscript route:
- Install the Userscripts app (free, by Justin Wasack) from the Mac App Store.
- Open it, grant it permission to run on Letterboxd, and pick a folder to store scripts.
- Click bestblurays-companion.user.js — Userscripts will offer to install it.
- Visit any Letterboxd film page. The panel should appear in the sidebar.
Userscript (any browser)
Works in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. Useful for sharing a single link (e.g. on Discord) without going through a store.
- Install a userscript manager: ViolentMonkey (open source, all browsers) or TamperMonkey.
- Click bestblurays-companion.user.js. The userscript manager intercepts the
.user.jsextension and shows an install prompt. - Confirm install, then visit any Letterboxd film page.
What it does
- Runs only on Letterboxd pages.
- Queries BestBlurays and show best releases information in a panel.
- If the film isn't catalogued yet, it'll still show a handy Blu-ray.com link
- Does not send any data to third parties. No analytics, no account needed.
