A24 is a New York film distributor and producer founded in August 2012, focused on contemporary independent and horror titles. Lionsgate handled its standard DVDs and Blu-rays until 2024 (ending with MaXXXine), while A24 has sold its own Collector's Edition Blu-rays and 4K discs since 2017, with booklets, new commentaries and art cards. Those editions were webstore-only until Barnes & Noble began stocking them in 2024.
