Overview
Tells the life story of Danish author Karen Blixen, who at the beginning of the 20th century moved to Africa to build a new life for herself. The film is based on her 1937 autobiographical novel.

Best Video Release

Universal UHD, excellent new transfer. Except for periodic blocking in highlights, which isn’t too obvious in motion, this is a strong disc. I’d suggest blue as there’s only Atmos sound and the most recent BD from 2013 was also from a new master and isn’t too bad.

The compression is not so good but it's not appalling. It has no original audio and the Atmos mix is very bad with a many new sound effects. The 5.1 on previous BDs was better, though still a tad remixed. The old DVDs had 4.1 6-track.
