Kino Lorber Blu-ray

Best Video:

Kino Lorber Blu-ray is much better than the extra in Criterion His Girl Friday Blu-ray. Even though Kino Lorber is the international cut and only restored in HD, and Criterion is the US theatrical cut, and restored in 4K, the Criterion picture quality is atrocious http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film5/blu-ray_reviews_68/the_front_page_blu-ray.htm

Criterion or MoC Blu-ray

Best Video:

While MoC Blu-ray has slightly better encoding than Criterion, the contrast on MoC looks very washed out, and Criterion‘s color grading is much more contrast-y. See caps

Best Video:

Criterion 4K Blu-ray > Capelight/Kino Lorber which has heavy noise reduction and opening snare hit is missing, Capelight is slightly better encoded than Kino Lorber

Best Audio:

1992 MGM LaserDisc [ML102699], but still a bit overly noise-managed.

1984 CBS/Fox Hi-Fi VHS maybe better?
