French version: 2020 Carlotta Blu-ray
German version: Filmmuseum DVD
French version: Criterion Blu-ray (Carlotta has no English subtitles)
German version: Filmmuseum DVD
Carlotta Films corrects the mistakes of Criterion due to the compression on dark scenes and gives the gorgeous transfer of the restoration a better encode/compression and more bitrate.
The German cut, titled Lola Montez, is considered by Ophüls scholars such as Jonathan Rosenbaum, Dan Sallitt and Tag Gallagher to be superior to the French cut. It has only been reissued on the Filmmuseum DVD.

All three are not ideal.
All three are not ideal.
Kino Lorber 4K Blu-ray has frozen grain, sharpening, lots of debris, and handles lesser materials. The supposed non-Superscope version is false advertising. It merely reveals more picture information.

Eureka MoC Blu-ray, see caps
MoC is sourced from an earlier scan, but still looks more detailed than the later 4K restoration released by Kadokawa in Japan, which has some black crush and DNR. French Capricci disc is sourced from the same scan as MoC but with much worse encoding and wrong levels.
1991 Daiei LaserDisc

Film Masters 2025 Blu-ray or Film Detective 2016 Blu-ray
Sources: slow.pics (opens in a new tab) · DVDBeaver (opens in a new tab) · YouTube (opens in a new tab)
Film Masters has 2025 new 2K restoration in Blu-ray, but seems to be mostly the same PQ wise to the 2016 The Film Detectives OOP Blu-ray https://slow.pics/c/pt6Z651b The 2016 Blu-ray might be even a bit smoother also it's negligent.
DVDBeaver review for Film Detectives Blu-ray http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film5/blu-ray_reviews_73/patterns_blu-ray.htm
Film Masters restoration is available in full in youtube but it's significantly worse with the youtube compression.
