Formed in 1995 from Handleman's Video Treasures and Starmaker labels, this US distributor built its name on 1970s and 1980s horror and cult films (Halloween, Evil Dead, Hammer) before Starz bought it in 2006. From 2011 it also released The Weinstein Company and Dimension films on US disc. Lionsgate folded it into Lionsgate Home Entertainment in 2017.
