Carlotta has FiM encode

Encoding issues, but still vastly superior to the old Blu-ray

Top-notch 4K restoration, proper colour correction, especially compared to past releases, and the original theatrical 5.1 mix restored in its unaltered form. The only issue is that the disc is not English-friendly, though the included remastered Blu-ray is.

Note: There is a newer 4K restoration by L’Immagine Ritrovata, which should be of better scan quality. The 4K restoration used on all current 4K disc releases stems from a low-quality Cintel scanner. The newer restoration has yet to be released on home video.

Top-notch 4K HDR restoration and Dolby Atmos remix (only present in downmixed form on the Umbrella 4K Blu-ray). Only caveat is the lack of an original mono mix option, even with the superior fidelity of the Dolby Atmos remix. Both Umbrella and GKIDS discs have been encoded by FiM.

Arrow includes highest quality audio from LaserDisc, removes damage, improves color and HDR, compression is worse than Capelight but still quite good.

Capelight has the best compression, but lacks the higher quality LD audio, image fixes and damage removal cleanup from Arrow.

France Metropolitan fixed the glitch from Sony's release

Sony's release has a glitch around the 40 min mark where a shot is repeated; no word from Sony about a replacement at the time of writing, i.e. 8/1/8/22

The 4K transfer is an improvement over the previous releases. The encoding is adequate, though far from perfect. The only audio track is a remix with significant alterations compared to the original.
