A Tokyo music, anime and video company owned by Fuji Media Holdings, Pony Canyon took its current name in 1987 when Pony merged with Canyon Records. Its home-video arm puts out Japanese Blu-rays of domestic films and anime alongside licensed Hong Kong and Hollywood titles, some on 4K UHD. These are Japanese-market discs, so English subtitles and extras vary by release.
