Manuel Chiche founded The Jokers in 2014 as a French theatrical distributor of auteur and genre films, Parasite among them. Its reissue arm La Rabbia, folded into the Jokers name in 2022, produces restored classics as French Blu-ray and 4K collector's editions with books, documentaries and vinyl soundtracks: Sorcerer, Memories of Murder, Kitano films and the Infernal Affairs trilogy 4K box set with a 200-page book (2023).
