Paramount 4K Blu-ray is disappointing review

Germany Plaion 4K Blu-ray possibly better?

WB 4K Blu-ray but has MAJOR Color Timing issues. All cold blues are rendered teal. WB Blu-ray despite issues is a purist visual option in this regard.

First ever Dolby Digital 5.1 wide release film. 4K Blu-ray has new Atmos remix which replaces original sound effects and prioritizes music and bombast. A terrible audio experience to be avoided. 1997 WB DVD has open matte version on flipper disc. VHS also is open matte.

This 5.1 mix is outstanding and all versions sound excellent. The Blu-ray HDMA is good but the DTS LaserDisc edges out over everything.

Shout! Factory 4K Blu-ray caps, very impressive upgrade, VFX shots look a bit better as well thanks to the new scan and HDR, magenta touch in the old master is no longer there

4K Blu-ray is missing featurettes from the old Blu-ray

Warner Bros 4K Blu-ray: Huge improvement in colors and detail. The restoration was done by the Academy instead of WB MPI which explains that there’s no grain management or issues with colors. They also accessed the original credit optical and scanned that one instead of recreating them digitally

Theatrical: WB 4K Blu-ray, according to Saentz, the 5.0 is a recreation of the original and subsequently 70mm mix from original elements.
