Ted Turner formed Turner Entertainment in August 1986 to hold the pre-1986 MGM library he kept after selling MGM, plus pre-1950 Warner Bros. films. MGM/UA Home Video released its tapes, and Turner also colorized black-and-white titles. Since the 1996 Time Warner merger it has been a Warner Bros. copyright holder in name only. TCM Vault Collection DVDs, such as a Columbia pre-Code set made with Sony, also carry this tag.

1988 MGM/Turner Hi-Fi VHS: Detailed and natural.
2008 R1 Warner Bros DVD - Frank Sinatra Collection: More muffled due to noise reduction.
2015 Warner Bros Blu-ray: Like the DVD but with a treble boost. Also a lossy transcode.
