Founded in New York in 1984 by the Cayre brothers of Salsoul Records, GoodTimes sold budget VHS and later DVD: public-domain films, fitness tapes, knock-off animated classics and some licensed titles, including a colorized Babes in Toyland and the 1960 Peter Pan. It filed for Chapter 11 in July 2005, Gaiam bought its assets that September, and the remaining GT Media operation closed in 2009.
