Gianluca and Stefano Curti founded RaroVideo in Italy in December 1999, and it now operates as the home-video division of Minerva Pictures. The catalogue pairs Italian auteurs such as Pasolini, Rossellini and Fellini with avant-garde and experimental work by Warhol, Jarman and Cocteau, often with booklets and uncut versions. RaroVideo U.S., formed with Cult Epics in 2010, issued its first Blu-ray in 2011.
