Started in 1994 as Cecchi Gori Home Video, the Italian distributor split from the Cecchi Gori Group in 2006 and took the CG Entertainment name in 2015. Its DVDs and Blu-rays span Italian classics by Monicelli, Risi and De Sica, gialli, and licensed world and genre cinema. Special editions are often funded through the pre-order scheme Start Up!, and its own web shop also sells digital rentals.
