Eve Gabereau and Edward Fletcher founded this London distributor in 2002 to handle arthouse, independent and international cinema in the UK and Ireland, issuing its films theatrically and then on DVD and Blu-ray. Canada's Thunderbird Entertainment bought Soda in 2014 and retired the name in April 2017, when it became Thunderbird Releasing. Its UK discs cover titles such as Toni Erdmann and Wendy and Lucy.
