Filmmaker Pip Chodorov founded Re:Voir in Paris in 1994 to publish and distribute experimental cinema. The catalogue runs from Dada, Surrealist and Lettrist films through the American avant-garde, film diaries and hand-painted work, with Jonas Mekas, Michael Snow and Marie Menken among its authors. Releases come on DVD and Blu-ray, often with booklets of the filmmakers' own writing, and the label also runs a streaming platform.
