Harvey and Bob Weinstein founded Miramax in Buffalo, New York, in 1979, and Disney owned it from 1993 to 2010. The library of about 700 films includes Pulp Fiction, Sin City and many 1990s art-house imports. Lionsgate and StudioCanal handled its discs from 2011; since 2020, when Paramount bought 49% alongside majority owner beIN Media Group, Paramount has released the catalogue worldwide.
