Philip and Mary-Ann Hobel founded this New York distributor in 1968, handling documentaries and features across educational, theatrical and television markets. Since launching its home-video line in 2009 (first Blu-ray in 2011) it has released international art cinema on US disc, including Claire Denis, Béla Tarr, Hong Sang-soo, Pedro Costa and Nuri Bilge Ceylan, plus a 4K release of Typhoon Club.
